When you walk into Jeff's Haberdashery in the Aurora Mall, Algiers or 3321 Severn in Metairie, you can't help but to notice delicious men's fashion. It's everywhere. Jeff describes the styles in his stores as "commercially hip" or "hip conservative." What does this mean? "When a man walks into a room stylishly dressed, his presence is known and felt. The chatter in the room is about how sharply he looks. A well-dressed man does not go ignored. This is why I believe the expression, 'dress for success' is a reality and a lifestyle choice. I don't understand why anyone would choose to dress shabbily. We all have options."
What does successful dressing mean to your wallet? "I've always tried to offer quality fashion and service at moderate to better price points and we have always gone the extra by offering free alterations, something seldom seen in stores today. A finely tailored suit means everything when it comes to looking your best. My goal is to fit everyone who walked into my store the best I can. Sometimes it is necessary to spend a little more to get the real deal and this is when you have to ask yourself, are you worth it? I never try to force anyone into clothing that fits uncomfortable, physically or financially. This is why the majority of my customers are repeat clients and have been for years."
